What 20+ years of veterinary work looks like

Before starting Happy Paws and Purrs, I spent over two decades working in veterinary general practice and in a specialty department focused on allergy, dermatology, and ear conditions. I bring all of that experience with me to every pet I care for.

I administer insulin for diabetic pets, oral medications, eye drops, and other prescribed treatments. Everything is given correctly, on the right schedule, and with the calm confidence that only comes from years of clinical practice.

Older pets and those recovering from surgery need more than just company. I monitor for changes, manage activity restrictions, stay on top of medications, and know when something does not look right.

I am a South Florida native, an animal lover, and a veterinary nurse with over 20 years of hands-on clinical experience in general practice and specialty care.

I started Happy Paws and Purrs because I saw a real gap. Pet owners with medically complex animals could not find a sitter with the experience to handle their pet's actual needs. That is what I am here for.
